*Tell everyone you know that you just lost your job.
*Expand your network by sharing it with others.
*Use a legitimate temporary agency and express open availability.
*Research the company and tailor your resume to the job description.
*Look at available job development programs.
*Make sure you and your references have professional email addresses and telephone numbers.
*Think about presentation in your resume and during the interview.
*Make sure that you follow up after the interview.
