2:00pm... Artists Talk featuring Rachel Foss and Scott Marvel is happening at the Beauty & Brawn Art Gallery and Think Space (3501 W. Fullerton, Chicago, Illinois 60647). Enjoy delicious snacks and doodle a few sketches while listening to Foss and Marvel discuss their new show, This Was Supposed to Help. Be sure to bring any blank t-shirts, tote bags and more because it's rumored that screen printing might be on the menu! Free and open to the public.
3:00pm... "The Dean of Mean", Ian Belknap will be performing at The Paper Machete at Green Mill (4802 N Broadway St, Chicago, IL 60640) along with Ian Abramson, Brent Morin, Dana Morris and more. Chad The Bird will be there, as will musical guests Brother George, so don't miss it! Free admission.
5:30pm... Curbside Splendor Publishing will be hosting a special Meet The Authors event with Ben Tanzer, Bill Hillmann and Chris Terry at 826CHI (1331 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60622). These extraordinary authors will share their stories about the trials and tribulations that come with publishing a novel and provide insight about how to achieve your dreams. 8:00pm... Ghost Bike: A New Play by Laura Jacqmin will be premiering at the Greenhouse Theater Center (2257 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60614). Ghost Bike is a play about love, death, bikes and Chicago culture told with overtones of Chinese, African and Greek mythology. Get tickets.

6:00pm... 2nd Story is back at Webster Wine Bar (1480 W Webster Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60614). Join storytellers Jeff Toth, Paula Carter, Alex Kessler and CP Chang for this extraordinary installment of 2nd Story entitled Once More Unto The Breach: Stories of Beautiful Struggle. Dine on delicious tapas and a flight of wine while enjoying exquisite and heartfelt tales of overcoming adversity. Get tickets here. Also happening at 6:00pm is Process/Progress by NO ONE IS ANYWHERE at The Nightingale Cinema (1084 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, Illinois 60642). Rory Murphy and Stephanie Acosta are the talented minds behind NO ONE IS ANYWHERE, "a discursive performance and art project" and their latest exhibition Process/Progress is at once an installation, film and performance more than two years in the making, come see for yourselves how incredible it will be. There is a requested $7 or $10 donation.
9:00pm... Steve Roggenbuck will be reading at The Parlor (1434 N. Western Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60622) alongside Anthony Peregrine, Jeanette Goames and more. Don't forget to bring the popcorn, this will be a night for the history books. Free admission.
