Friday January 10th, 2014 

6:30pm... Come out to Shame That Tune Goes to the Future! at the Hideout Inn (1354 W. Wabansia, Chicago, Illinois 60622). Featured performers tonight include Danny Black, Peter Andreadis and Thymme Jones. 

7:00pm... What would you do if you had a contract to, not only marry someone, but gradually poison them as well? This is the concept behind Chris Hefner's new film, The Poisoner. Catch a special screening of the film tonight at Lincoln Hall (2424 N Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60614). This special screening will include a live overture by composer, Daniel Knox. Not even ice can keep Write Club Founder and Overlord, Ian Belknap down! Come out the Lifeline Theater (6912 N Glenwood Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60626) for WRITE CLUB-- Fillet of Solo Edition 2: Baby It's Cold As Shit Outside featuring Don Hall, Marta Johnson and many more talented writers. 7:15pm...  Come see the amazing Roberta Miles and Jillian Erickson read at the January edition of Loose Chicks at Uncharted Books (2630 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60647). Roberta Miles is best known for, not only her incredible jazz singing and paintings, but her irreverent autobiographical monologues and Jillian Anderson is a fantastic performance artist, poet and writer. Don't miss out on what is sure to be an awesome night! There is a suggested donation. 

Saturday January 11th, 2014

4:30pm... Dave Maher and Blake Burkhart request your presence at This Is Not An Open Mic at The Parlor (1434 N. Western Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60622). This intimate open mic/basement party will feature performances by Wade Herter and Brian Zachary Earl.

Sunday January 12th, 2014

7:30pm... Come out to Webster Wine Bar (1480 W Webster Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60614) for 2nd Story "Fresh and Clean: Stories of Brand New" featuring Alice KimMaureen Riley, Vince Pagán and Andrew Reilly. Curating this show will be Bobby Biedrzycki, sound design will be by Nick Kawahara and the show will be directed by Rinska Carrasco Prestinary. Get tickets here.
