Wednesday September 25th 

Come out to Victory Gardens Theater at 7:30pm and hear original readings by some of Chicago's finest authors. Late Night Teatro Vista presents NoFilter. Featured performers include: Sandra Marquez, Minita Jyotindra Gandhi, Bobby Biedrzycki, Elizabeth Nungaray, Cyn Vargas, Stephanie Chavara and Eric Hazen. Tickets are $10 ($8 for students).  

Thursday September 26th 

Salon Splendor returns! The series that used to take place at Madame Zuzu's Teahouse has now found a home at The Hungry Brain. Featured readers include Charles Blackstone (managing editor at Bookslut), Lee Sandlin (formerly of The Reader), and Dmitry Samarov (ex-cab driver and author of Hack). Books will be available for purchase and signing. Doors open at 8pm, the party starts at 9pm. $ Cash only $ 

Also happening on Thursday night is Seven Stories (The Line Between) presented by The Group Project at Martin's Corner at 8pm. This reading series features seven readers and is hosted by a gorgeous drag queen. In addition to the usual goings-on, this installment will offer an open mic. Best of all? It's free! 

Friday September 27th

Artificial Ear #2: Positive Paranoia is happening at Meat Train. It's where all the cool kids are going to be, you just have to ring the bottom bell. Anais Daly, Mason Johnson, Tom Simmons and Daniela Olszewska will all be reading from their work. The magic happens at 8pmFree!
