Many weddings are white, and some even take place in castles -- but Shannon and Kevin Mendez's recent wedding ceremony might be the first to have taken place at a White Castle. It all happened so fast. One Friday, Shannon and Kevin called in to the J Niice and Julian Morning Show on B96 to compete with other Chicagoland couples, pleading with listeners to give them a wedding to remember. As part of a Valentine's Day promotion, the morning show put together the "Wedding In A Week" where the entire thing was put together in under a week. The very next Friday, Shannon and Kevin were walking down the aisle -- amidst the sweet smell of sliders, their closest friends and family, a full force White Castle crew, and all of Chicago listening in to B96. cheap and memorable... isn't that what all weddings strive to be?
Classy! This is one step above the Waffle House Wedding from that Redneck weddings show! I surely hope Neil Patrick Harris officiated the ceremony while riding a cheetah!
