16 Famous Filipino-Americans!

Happy Asian Pacific American Heritage Month!  And more importantly, Maligayang bati (Congratulations!) to our friend Billy Dec for winning--check this out--an Asian-American Hall of Fame award, Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas' Asian Pacific American Entrepreneur Award, the Cook County State's Attorney's Asian Pacific American Community Leadership Award, AND Illinois Secretary of State Jessie White's Asian Pacific American Business Leadership Award!  We and everyone "back home" are so proud!

If that's not enough, the Philippine Islands' favorite son, Manny Pacquiao, was elected to the Filipino Senate recently, so we Filipinos have a lot to be excited about.  To celebrate, we've compiled trivia about famous Filipino-Americans.  Some of them may surprise you!
