Our 30 Favorite Nerds

A lot of you will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day today, but the nerds of the world had their big party last weekend.  Sunday was Pi Day (3.14, get it?), and Cate and I celebrated by playing trivia against some members of the Chicago Nerd Social Club.  The trivia night included a round in which we had to identify famous nerds.  All of this got us thinking about our favorite nerds, so we've compiled a list.  Here are our 30 favorite nerds (fictional and real)...wouldn't they make a great trivia team?!

    I KNEW someone was going to ask me about that! I actually haven't seen the show so I couldn't put them as my favorite nerds. Sounds like I need to check it out...for research purposes, of course.

    Those aren't the original nerds in the Revenge of the Nerds poster... although Bill Gates is a nerd.

    Yes. "Real" nerds appear on the altered cover. You noticed Bill Gates. There's also the Google Guys and Steve Jobs. It's not the original cover but when I found it I had to post it. It was too funny! I'm actually having trouble seeing the nerd on next to Gates... maybe Mr. Bean (?)
