I found these two videos (see below) while browsing online. The first one is a video from the MGM Traveltalks series shot in 1948*. The other is a recent feature from CNN's Anchor and Correspondent Richard Quest**. It's pretty cool when you compare and contrast Chicago 2011 vs. 1948. The 2011 video is eerily similar to the older one in the way it is shot particularly towards the end, don't you think? Take a look and let me know!

NIce, 1948 was a great year. I don't seem to remember Chicago looking like that then but since I was just a baby, how could I? Many scenes do look familiar from you younger years. Good job.
