Save Our Garden Picnic – A Fundrasier and Social

Last summer the residents of Garfield Park restored a community garden on a vacant lot that had been neglected for years. Recently we discovered the property had been sold at a tax auction. June 20th the new owner will take possession of the garden unless we can raise the money to redeem it. The Wicker Park Garden Club has agreed to serve as our fiscal agent while we set up a non-profit to take ownership.

Where: The Garden (the southwest corner of Lake and Hamlin)
When: Sunday, May 20 - You can Bring a Check to the Picnic!
