This weekend The Trotter Project is working with chefs around the world to celebrate chef Trotter and the opening of his eponymous restaurant. The weekend around August 16-17 was always an exciting one at the restaurant. Chef friends from around the world would come to Chicago and celebrate the restaurant’s anniversary with epic dinners and events any gourmand would love to attend.
The Trotter Project has worked with state and city leaders to The State to proclaim August 17th Charlie — the anniversary of Charlie Trotter’s restaurant opening was a significant day in the lives of all Trotter’s alumni. This year more people than ever can celebrate and join in on the party.
Chefs around Chicago and the world will celebrate chef Trotter and the inspiration he brought to so many. Restaurants seen below will have a Charlie Trotter inspired dish or even menu for diners to enjoy on the 16th and 17th of August. All of the proceeds from those dishes will go to The Trotter Project.
If you are a chef or restaurateur who would like additional information, please contact The Trotter Project at email@example.com.
I sincerely hope you’ll get the chance to see how much chef Trotter meant to so many and how his influence will continue to be felt for many years to come.
