Life is defined by moments. Perhaps an event anticipated for months or small unexpected experiences that may seem trivial at the moment. I can recall degustation menus from Pierre Garnier or the first time I walked in to the kitchen at Charlie Trotters from long ago. I'll never forget the perfect tenor of Luciano Pavarotti. But what does it take to put on that event? When does the work begin and end for our entertainment? Our memory?
The video I found is amazing on so many levels and I don't want to cloud it with words. I can only hope the event was as fulfilling for the chef's and service team of Alinea as it was for the diners.
