KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!

As we all know this fall season Chicago has three TV series premiering.  This is the first good news for Chicago since Transformers passed through in 2010. The icing on the cake would be if Chicago found out that a feature was to be scheduled for the end of the year or the beginning of next year.  It would seem then that the good times might be returning to Chicago.

It would be even better if, besides the productions, a production company would set up shop for one or two of these TV series adding permanence to the flurry of production.

Hopefully, with good reviews one of the three TV series will hang around like Early Edition did back in the 90’s … WOW! That was a long time ago!  Boss is holding its own, too.  Two TV series in town for the long haul would be good ... two out of the four isn't bad. All four would be great!

I’m rooting for you, Chicago.  The town needs this sort of break to get back on its feet.

Although my blog is about the future of filmmaking in Chicago, I hope these TV series do work out for Chicago’s film industry, today.
