Good afternoon Chicago! For my first post, I thought I'd give you all a little intro to myself and what you'll find on this blog.

I'm a recently graduated master's student of the Goldring Arts Journalism program at Syracuse University, where I specialized in fashion. Sure, I browse Vogue like everybody else, but I'm more influenced by the Real People of the streets. I like creating my own fashion sense, whether that includes vintage pieces or clothes that I've made or re-fashioned.

Here's a picture of me in my natural habitat: a sloppy bun and a plain t-shirt that I'm about to cut up. What is that I'm making? I picked up a cheap black sleeveless shirt from Forever21 and cut out a skull pattern in the back. I found the tutorial here on Hurley's website. Check it out if you want!

You'll find tutorials on Chicago F&F for DIY fashion in the future, along with some day-to-day snapshots of what people are wearing around town. Thanks for checking my blog out! Leave me a comment if there's something you'd like to see!
