COLOR OUT OF SPACE - (through Jan. 30th) Daily at 9:30pm; also at 11:20am Sat./Sun. The long-awaited directorial return of Richard Stanley (Dust Devil, Hardware) is finally here with a dazzling, ultra vivid, sci-fi horror film starring Nic Cage and Joely Richardson. Based on a short story by H.P. Lovecraft, a family moves to a remote farm for a quiet life, which quickly turns into a terrifying nightmare after a meteorite lands nearby and an extraterrestrial organism begins to infect both their bodies and minds. PARASITE - (through Jan. 30th) Director Bong Joon-ho (The Host, Memories of Murder, Snowpiercer) is a master at his craft and it's worth seeking out his entire body of work. The moods, tension, horror, and even comedy within his films work exquisitely together. Times vary. Also, the fantastic whodunit, KNIVES OUT, continues through Jan. 30th. ZOMBI CHILD - (Jan. 24th-26th; 28th-30th) French fantasy drama connecting the past (slavery, Haitian voodoo) with present-day social hierarchies among schoolgirls; presenting a strong look at race, class, and cultural appropriation.
