Weekend screenings offer fun genre entertainment, along with some 35mm options next week (FREE 35mm viewing of Night of the Comet!). Horror Theatre is still holding steady, with great selections like The Woman in Black, Deathscribe, Witch, and Frankenstein (ends Dec. 2nd!).

OVERLORD - (mainstream theaters) Who knew a film about D-Day could be so fun? It's a perfect split between being both an action film and a horror film. A group of American soldiers survive after their plane catches fire from being attacked over enemy territory. Their one job is to destroy the radio tower so the Nazis will have no way of knowing what's heading their way. This proves to be a daunting task after a few distractions, like finding hybrid creatures (results of highly unorthodox Nazi experimentation) in an underground laboratory!
