Weekend: Frankenstein Play, Skeletons in the Closet Premiere, and More

An abundance of horror-themed plays are rushing to the Chicago stage very soon. This weekend begins performances of Frankenstein and Little Shop of Horrors, among other ongoing productions. This fall season, quite a few companies will be presenting their own versions of Frankenstein! A separate post on the upcoming horror plays this year will be coming soon. Until then, enjoy the horror currently on the stage and screen!

Svengoolie Coffin & More - One of the cooler things to do on a tight budget 6 days out of the week! The highlight for horror fans, of course, is the Svengoolie exhibit with his original coffin and the show's set, along with pieces from Shock Theatre. There are plenty of other cool things to see related to Chicago television and film, like a large display of items from Bozo's Circus, retro TV sets, journalism history, advertising artifacts, and so much more.
