Pretty Spooky Handmade: Horror Clothing Trunk Show

Pretty Spooky Handmade: Horror Clothing Trunk Show
Pretty Spooky Handmade

Christmas is right around the corner, and now is the time to get an early start on shopping for friends, family, and ourselves. (We all do it. “One for you... One for me...”) Horror fans tend to be stuck ordering goods online, which can be frustrating when it comes to clothing. Shopping in person is much more fun and practical. This Saturday, November 30th, a really cool event is scheduled at The Alley Store on Belmont that many horror fans may want to check out. Rachel Thieme of Pretty Spooky Handmade is having a trunk show reception for her clothing designs.

Rachel is one of my favorite familiar faces to see when I pop into a horror festival or convention. She and her sister Rhea are diehard fans and travel to many cons to support the community and sell all kinds of cool stuff. Her clothing is handmade using recycled t-shirts, vintage patches, and more.

Enjoy free food and drinks while shopping for cool, one-of-a-kind, handmade horror T-Skirts, dresses, hoodies, and tops made from recycled t-shirts. The new line of hoodies are for both men and women, as well as messenger bags which can accommodate iPads, tablets, and mini laptops. Don't miss the big raffle drawing at 7:30pm! The grand prize is a $150 gift basket chock full of merchandise from The Alley and Pretty Spooky Handmade.

SWEET DEAL: Every purchase at the Spooky Handmade Trunk Show reception will come with a FREE PASS to Days of the Dead horror convention!! This is good for any Days con and purchases over $50 will grant a full FREE WEEKEND PASS!! Just show Rachel or Rhea your receipt and receive your free DAYS OF THE DEAD pass!

The Alley is located at 3228 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60657. The reception runs 6:30pm-9:00pm on Saturday, November 30th. Unable to make it? Pretty Spooky Handmade will also be selling at The Alley from Friday, Nov. 29th-Dec. 1st!
