Weekend in Horror: Star Julie Adams Q&A, CHFF, Anatomical Art Show, Movies, Zombies

Chicago offers a huge weekend in horror, including movie fests, an anatomical art show, a Q&A with actress Julie Adams, the Chicago Horror Film Festival (CHFF), and a few zombie events to properly end September with a bang. The fun thing about the Chicago horror scene is its diversity. There is almost always something interesting going on for different types of horror fans.

Creature from the Black Lagoon 3D in 35mm with star Julie Adams in person on Saturday, September 28th! Two shows are available: 2pm with Q&A at 3:30pm or 7pm with Q&A at 8:30pm. Autographs and picture taking with the actress are encouraged. Bone & Blood: Structural Bodies in Motion gallery event on Saturday, September 28th, 6-10pm. This anatomical art-themed show will have an opening night to remember! Besides the amazing art constructed out of various media by numerous artists, watch the trapeze artists, wall climbers, circus artists and more perform at 7:30pm and 9:30pm. Chicago Horror Film Festival - The CHFF is back for another round of horror movies Friday through Sunday. This year, it is located at the Des Plaines Theater on 1476 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016. On Saturday, catch the Q&A with Child's Play star Alex Vincent at 5:45pm.
