Movie Fests, The Walking Dead, and more: Chicago Horror Events October 12-14, 2012
Julie Adams and The Creature

While drowning in a temperamental sea of candy corn, cobwebs, and horror movies, I almost dropped the ball on the weekend events post! Actually, I despise candy corn. Little, waxy “Satan's Nuggets.” So pretty, yet so not tasty. It's okay. You can disagree. Now is a great time to fight about candy preferences. Actually, I've been working on my October Movie Challenge. Have you? I've been getting some great feedback from friends and fans alike who are starting the challenge for the first time. It's great seeing their steady determination to school themselves on as much horror as possible this month. The more, the merrier.

This weekend is once again PACKED with movies, festivals, plays, parties, and gore-soaked Halloween-inspired mayhem. Pick your poison, have a blast, and be sure to survive so you can do it all again next weekend!
