Local horror fans are probably really familiar with Flashback. No? Buckle in and read on!
Flashback Weekend Horror Convention celebrates its 10th Anniversary show this weekend on August 10-12, 2012 in Rosemont, IL at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare. Celebrity guests galore, movies, costumes, zombie pinups, Svengoolie, and even a Friday the 13th movie reunion! Gary Streiner (Night of the Living Dead) will also be present, so check out his table in the dealers room and help him save the chapel from the movie! www.fixthechapel.com
The convention is dedicated to the late Sage Stallone. Saturday and Sunday's Q&A events will begin with a Sage Stallone panel discussion from when he visited Flashback in 2005.
While the daytime activities (Dealers room, panels, contests) will be held at the hotel as usual, the evening movie screenings and parties will be held at Muvico Theaters Rosemont 18 and Bogart's Bar & Grill on the 2nd floor, 9701 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Rosemont, IL. It's just north of the Crowne Plaza on the other side of the parking garage off of River Road. Muvico is sweet, with its plush, stadium seating and Sony 4K digital projection. For more info on Muvico, visit Muvico.com.

Full Schedule subject to change. MANY more events on the website that I didn't have room to mention!
PLEASE, PLEASE study or print out the schedule, because I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of confusion as to what is going on where. The two locations have been mapped out well, and the convention runners have listed everything to the tee, but there is bound to be chaos, so just make sure you have a good idea of what you want to get out of the events available.
Have fun! See you there!
