Chicago 5 - Day 2

Day two of the tournament brings us Northwestern's first appearance, versus Chicago State, and UIC playing DePaul.

The Wildcats welcomed the Cougars to Welsh-Ryan Arena and even though things were interesting for awhile Northwestern pulled out a 73-58 victory. Antonio Lofton tied Thompson with 21 points for the Cougars, but he didn't get any help from his teammates as they combined to shoot 36.2% in the loss.
