Third annual All-Chicago College Basketball Teams

With the season complete it's time for one of my favorite posts, the All-Chicago College Basketball teams. I've taken the five teams around the city and compressed them into the 10 players that stood out the most during the season. There were some tough calls, especially on the second team, but I think these are the players that made the most impact this season in Chicago. If you've been a regular reader this season I don't think the Player of the Year will come as any surprise. Note: I've omitted the Coach of the Year award this season. I'm withholding judgement there this season. The teams are in the photo-gallery below.

I'd also like to make a special mention of Loyola's Andy Polka. I was unable to find a place for him on these teams, but his great rebounding skills and dedication to being a student-athlete is commendable. Thus I'm going to name him Chicago College Basketball's Student Athlete of the Year.

He's the Player of the Year! He's at the end.

Oh sorry, in the little pictures below the featured one the last one is Shurna, but I see him now. With him on the list I don't have any problem with it, great work.
