Polka and Kreps honored

Robo Kreps Drives

Two Chicago seniors have been named finalists for the Chip Hilton Award. The award is given to a graduating senior for his outstanding character, leadership and talent. Andy Polka of Loyola and Robo Kreps of UIC are both finalists for the award along with Jimmer Fredette of BYU and Charles Jenkins of Hofstra.

Kreps and Polka were integral parts of their respective teams this season. I named Kreps to the All-Chicago First Team and recognized Polka's efforts by naming him my first ever Student Athlete of the Year. Both are very deserving of all the honors they receive this offseason.
