Illinois opens season tonight, good luck watching it

Illinois opens the season tonight with a game against UC Irvine. Yes, this is the same UC Irvine team that lost to Concordia University in its exhibition game. Let's just say that I'm not expecting much from the Anteaters in this game, but I am happy that basketball is back.

Now here's the tricky part. In order to watch Illinois basketball you have to have ESPN3. Also, if you want to watch two of the other games, Rhode Island vs. Pittsburgh (6 p.m. CT) and Navy at Texas (8 p.m. CT), you have to have ESPNU.
Ah the joys of early season college basketball.
