8. Kenny Williams - UIC: Point guard Kenny Williams is arguably the best player in the history of University of Illinois-Chicago basketball. Williams played at UIC from 1990-94 while the Flames were in the Mid-Continent Conference (now the Summit League). He was a three-time all-conference first team member and the Player of the Year after the 1993-94 season. Williams scored 2,025 points during his collegiate career - second in UIC history. He's third all-time with 487 assists and first in steals with 237. Now Williams covers UIC basketball games as a radio analyst.

  • If Stanley Brundy doesn't make this list something is seriously wrong.

  • While Brundy had a number of outstanding individual games, including the 47-point outing against Loyola Marymount at Allstate Arena, I'm not sure he should top any of the remaining 7 players on the list. He certainly was a great player and might've been a better "modern" DePaul player to choose besides Diener.
