Strong Independent Chicago Women Don't Get Laid

According to a recent article in the Chicago Sun-Times citing a controversial Johns Hopkins University study, women who are more independent and dominant get less sex.

This makes sense to a certain degree I suppose. I'm not usually attracted to dominant women unless she has magnificent breasts and is flexible like an Olympic gymnast. Still, the results of the study are surprising.

Dr. Laura Berman, who wrote the Sun-Times article, stated that, "the findings suggest women who make a bulk of the household decisions outside the bedroom are likely to experience less physical intimacy inside the bedroom."

I'd like to believe this study is false and wrong. I certainly try to do my part. But alas, I'm only one man. I can only satisfy a certain number before even I get fatigued.

Nonetheless, I'd like to think that most of the strong, independent and beautiful women in Chicago experience overflowing amounts of great sex with other men out there. Unfortunately, this study clearly shows otherwise.

Men in Chicago are concerned. Is there anything we men can do? More specifically, is there anything I can do?

Call me (if you're attractive).

  • Some how, I think Dr Laura Berman is projecting. Somehow I just don't buy this too successful/ too strong = men not interested theory.
    er.
    Unfortunately, from Dr Berman to Giada de Laurentis, it seems that famous women seem to be saying that women can't have it both ways;
Good relationships (and/or good sex) and a good care.

I find this thinking to be a pile of BS.

I tend to agree with you Andy.

Laura Berman is giving her two cents as to what she thinks study means. But at the end of the day we still have the results of the Johns Hopkins study. It is what it is. Why it's like that is open to different opinions.

Would it be wrong to suggest that Giada stay in the kitchen?

She is a cook after all.

  • Good relationships (and/or good sex) and a good career, rather.

  • This can't be true. Almost every guy I know likes dominant women, & it's hard these days to find dominant men.

Also, what about all the men who like gingers; don't they usually like them because they are temperamental and fiesty, which sort of equates to dominance?

  • In reply to thegingerphiles:

I would venture to say that a certain number of men like gingers because red has been missing in their crayola box of love.

What a load of rubbish. To think someone paid for this type of study, that has "what" value. Independent & dominant women get less sex, compared to "what", Trailer trash? Dominant - you mean she knows what she wants, when, how and refuses to compromise?

Independent - able to stand up, be counted and relies on "No-One" but herself?

I liked to know how the results were calculated. Homeless, clueless, unemployable MEN

  • In reply to John Feeney:

I'm with you all the way John, let's try to change these results the only way we can...by actually having more sex with these women.
