  • Thanks for your interest in Chicago State University!
Please remember that Mark Allen does not mention that Emil Jones and Dr. Watson sparked a law suit when they used WYCC TV to make political videos. He does not mention that Emil Jones and the Rev. Jackson put Dr. Watson in place in a process that did not follow University policies. He does not mention that Gov. Quinn appointed "reform" Trustees after Watson was hired, but then failed to re-appoint these trustees when they were in the process of removing the University President because he "may" have violated University policies. He does not mention that with these Trustees eliminated, Dr. Watson felt free to give his friends double digit pay raises and to fire the VP of Finance who had raised issues that he "may" not have followed University policies. He does not mention that he fired this man before making sure that someone else had the authority to authorize payroll disbursement, so the paychecks of hundreds of employees were delayed on the same day as the lavish gala for Emil Jones... Please contact governor Quinn and your State Senator - tell them that a State University needs to serve students, it is not just an "F****ing Golden" prize for politicians.
