Bulls plow through Magic without Rose
The Bulls notched two impressive feats with a victory last night. Chicago set the record for fewest points allowed while Tom Thibodeau became the fastest coach to 100 wins. I'm sure the partying is still going on today, or more than likely, they're simply thinking about the Raptors... Read more »
Where's Omer?
Omer's role on the Bulls has shrunken with the outstanding play of Joakim Noah. Against Orlando, Omer played sparingly despite a matchup where his size would appear heavily favorable. In fact, half of his minutes were with Howard on the bench. With Luol Deng likely taking a few games off, Rip Hamilton likely out a month, and the trade deadline fast approaching, the question is are the Bulls really committed to Asik... Read more »
Bulls starters blast the Celtics in win
Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer had struggled to play well together recently, and the starting lineup as a whole simply wasn't performing. I predicted Joakim would bust out against the Celtics given his history against them, and he delivered... Read more »

Bulls problems aren't so bad
Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer haven't gotten it going yet this year. Richard Hamilton and C.J. Watson have been injured. Luol Deng has lost his three point shot, and after a hot start has seen his TS% drop to 46.7%. Yet despite all these gripes, the Bulls are sitting pretty... Read more »
At least we played the Wizards
For my first game live at the UC, I got the enjoyment of watching perhaps the ugliest basketball game in the Derrick Rose era. I suppose the good news was that it was a win. If there was a prop bet on John Lucas having a 25, 8, and 8 game this season, I bet you'd have cleaned up... Read more »
Bulls slog through a sloppy win
The Bulls were sharp early, they took a 20+ point lead by the middle of the second quarter, but failed to score or play defense for the final four minutes allowing Minnesota to close the lead to six... Read more »

Bulls at Magic 7pm on ESPN - Rose expected to play
The Chicago Bulls get another stiff test in the early part of their season when they roll into Orlando to play a Magic team that hasn't yet traded Dwight Howard... Read more »
Derrick Rose carries the Bulls to victory
Through three periods the Chicago Bulls scored 42 points. No one deserves to be in a basketball game when they've scored 42 points through three periods. Not in the NBA. However, their defense played fairly well over that stretch holding the Hawks to 56. 14 points, a lot to overcome... Read more »
Putting this Bulls season into perspective
Going into the season, I felt the Bulls had maybe a 10% chance of losing in the first round, 40% of losing in the 2nd, 30% of losing in the ECF, 10% of losing in the finals, and 10% of winning the whole thing. The Bulls managed to make it to the ECF which... Read more »

Omer Asik to miss the remainder of playoffs with fractured Tibia
Bulls rookie center Omer Asik sustained a fractured left fibula in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals at Miami on May 22. He was examined by Bulls Head Team Physician, Dr. Brian Cole of Midwest Orthopedics at Rush. The diagnosis was confirmed via MRI and CT scan before Game 4. He attempted to play... Read more »
