Heat's big three jealous of the Bulls cast
I received an interesting note from a Miami Heat Insider privy to the most private thoughts within the organization, and interestingly, not only were the big three concerned about their ability to get past Chicago, they were also jealous of the cast the Bulls had been able to assembled... Pending health, the Bulls are the favorite
If Rose can get to 100% of his explosiveness (not necessarily 100% pain free), are the Bulls the favorite to win the title this season... Read more »
Rose returns as Bulls defeat Dallas
Derrick Rose returned to action against the Mavericks playing a shade under 32 minutes of carefully controlled basketball while Dallas went the other way, resting Jason Terry and Jason Kidd for the night. Meanwhile, the Miami Heat decided to rest LeBron and Bosh for the night and Wade dislocated a finger in the first two minutes of the game. The result is they played the rest of the night without the big three and lost to the Wizards on a last second layup by Nene Hilario dropping the Bulls magic number for the East to one... Read more »

Rose and Bosh sit as Bulls fall to Heat
The game was chippy early. James Jones was ejected after a pretty weak flagrant two against Joakim Noah. Dwyane Wade had a flagrant of his own as well. The Bulls played the Heat tough for most of the game, and then went in to one of those spurts... Read more »
Bulls crush heat in OT after Watson's miracle three keeps them alive
With Derrick Rose suffering his worst game as a pro, clearly not remotely healthy, C.J. Watson stepped up and carried the torch. His 16 points and nine assists don't do justice to how well he played. Not only did Watson have an outstanding job initiating the offense for himself and his teammates, but he also played outstanding defense as well... Read more »
Bulls vs Heat 7pm on TNT - Rose gametime decision
The Chicago Bulls enter the most critical game left on the schedule with the cloud of Derrick Rose's injury over their head. The team had performed admirably in his absence, but the last game against an elite team without Rose reminded Chicago how much they need him to stay on top of the mountain... Read more »

Luol Dengerous leads Bulls past Celtics
It wasn't pretty for the Bulls or Luol in the first half. It looked like the Bulls offense would once again fall apart without Derrick Rose to bail them out, but there was no rope dropping last night. The Bulls came back through sheer effort and will power, dominating the Celtics on the glass, frequently getting multiple offensive rebounds per possession on misses and playing suffocating defense which gave Boston little room to do anything whatsoever... Does Miami lack coaching, mental toughness, or heart?
Watching the Thunder/Heat game last night where the Thunder rolled the Heat whom seemed to mentally check out of the game. Miami will finish with a great regular season record. At worst, third best in the NBA, and they could easily finish with the best or second best. They have an unbelievable array of talent, enough talent that they should dominate the league. Yet it feels like something's missing... Read more »
John Lucas does his Derrick Rose impression in Bulls win over Heat
The best thing about the Bulls victory over the Heat is that there was no choke by Miami. There was no gaffe. There was no holding back. By the end of the game every trick they've tried on Derrick Rose was used on John Lucas; double team 40 feet from the basket, trap on the pick and roll, and even LeBron taking the assignment. The Heat couldn't stop John Lucas who played the best game of his life, and the Bulls went on to win... Read more »

Bulls vs Heat 8:30pm on ESPN
The Bulls and Heat renew their rivalry in a late starting game on TNT tonight. The Heat are coming off an overtime loss to the Magic where LeBron James willed the Magic to win with his ineffective fourth quarter and overtime play while the Bulls had a day off in which Rose limped away from film session before getting into a minor car accident. Oh yeah, he was also fined 25k for his thoughts about the refs screwing him over. Cue Daniel Powter... Read more »
