The Bulls' Interest In Wade And Rondo Makes No Sense

The Bulls' Interest In Wade And Rondo Makes No Sense
Day one of free agency is done, and thus far, it’s brought upon the exit of Joakim Noah and E’Twaun Moore, further speculation of Pau Gasol’s new destination, and bizarre reports suggesting that the Bulls have interests in signing one of Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo. A dominant ball handler, lapsing defensive effort and without... Read more »

It's Always A Financial Decision, Gar

It's Always A Financial Decision, Gar
It’s become the norm to expect that any trade made by the Chicago Bulls is done so under the premise that dumping salary and saving money on luxury tax bills is a must. Partly said in jest, there is some truth that lies within that statement. It occurred with the departure of Luol Deng and... Read more »

Why the Bulls can never win the off-season

Every year, Bulls fans look forward to the off-season, waiting for the big move to put them over the top. Waiting for management to do something, anything, to get better than the Miami Heat. After all, we'd better answer Reggie Rose's call and get some talent in here or perhaps Derrick Rose won't play again. Every year the Bulls make some minor moves on the bench and appear to come back worse...

Bulls interested in Jamison, Jamison wants to play

The Chicago Bulls have been now been officially linked to Antawn Jamison, not surprising since he's one of three or four players left that I'd say are worth taking over Malcolm Thomas...

Belinelli finds a new home and other free agency madness

Free agency is well on its way with many of the big dominoes falling already. The biggest, Dwight Howard, expects to announce his decision today. Somehow I can't imagine Kobe telling Dwight that he'll teach him to be a champion could have possibly gone over well. The Bulls can scratch one familiar name off their list to finalize the roster, as Marco Belinelli signed with the Spurs...

Where to set the season's expectations

Now that the roster is [likely] complete, we can begin to take a look at what the Bulls season may look like this year...

Bulls set to sign Nate Robinson

The good news is that Nate Robinson can come in and play the John Lucas role better than John Lucas in my opinion. He's cut in a similar mold (shoot, score, handle, ball hog, undersized) but plays with more strength and athleticism while historically being more of a locker room pain in the ass [though to be fair, I haven't heard anything in that regard recently, I also haven't paid much attention]...

Bulls did well considering the budget

I've railed on and on about the Bulls budget, profit margins, and unwillingness to spend. However, pushing aside my problems with ownership's stance towards spending money, the Bulls did a nice job this off-season under the constraints they had to work under...
