Draft profiles: Doron Lamb, 6'5, 205 lbs, SG, Kentucky sophomore

Draft profiles: Doron Lamb, 6'5, 205 lbs, SG, Kentucky sophomore
While 6’5, Doron is nothing to marvel at athletically.  He possesses above average lateral quickness, but needs to improve his defensive positioning. He's a fundamental defender more so than a disruptive one as he's rarely beaten but doesn't disrupt the defense with steals or blocks frequently either. Overall, he shouldn't become a liability on the floor defensively... Read more »

2012 Bulls draft central with Kevin States

Welcome back to Draft Central for 2012.   It was a brutal end to the season, but I think we have learned a lot about this team after witnessing this.  Even though, it has been apparent we lean too much on Derrick Rose, I think it became more apparent this year in the playoffs.  I think it is obvious we need a consistent threat that can create for self and others; whether from the perimeter or post.  With Kyle Korver, C.J. Watson, and Ronnie Brewer being non guaranteed along with Omer being a restricted free agent, I expect this to be an interesting offseason... Read more »

Will the Bulls pay the luxury tax next season?

Will the Bulls pay the luxury tax next season?
Jerry Reinsdorf said he'd pay the tax for a winner. The penalty for paying the tax has changed considerably since he made that statement, and this team wasn't a winner this season... Read more »

C.J. Watson will [and should] come back next year

C.J. Watson will [and should] come back next year
C.J. Watson ended the Bulls season by grasping defeat out of the jaws of victory. Bulls fans go over the play in their mind over and over again wondering why he didn't keep the ball. However, no one feels worse than Watson over his gaff. He knows what it cost his team. He knows they'd be playing today had he merely attempted to dribble out the clock... Read more »

Bulls drop series to 76ers; Pain will create change

Bulls drop series to 76ers; Pain will create change
The Chicago Bulls fell to the 76ers in a series where Frank Vogel would be trying to convince the media that they really won. They were missing their two best players for the majority of the games and can go into the off-season wondering what if. The series ended in a set up so comically bad that you can't but help to laugh at it. A sick, twisted, mournful laugh that is... Read more »

Bulls look to swing momentum at 6pm on NBATV/CSN

Bulls look to swing momentum at 6pm on NBATV/CSN
The Chicago Bulls refused to go away in game five. They continued to play the same brand of basketball they did the previous two days, but they were even more effective in stopping Philly's defense. There's no playing for pride now. Now they're playing to advance. They're playing for their playoff lives... Read more »

Bulls provide at least one more night of joy

Let it be said at the end of this series, regardless of the outcome, that the Chicago Bulls did not quit. They did not throw in the towel, they did not drop the rope. They've had some terrible shooting, poor coaching decisions, bad calls go against them, horrific luck with injuries, and weaknesses exposed, but they haven't given up or stopped believing... Chicago's last stand 8:30 on NBA TV / CSN

The Chicago Bulls pulled Philly into their game twice in a row in Philadelphia, but they came up empty both times. Joakim Noah is out for game five officially and almost certainly out for the rest of the series if the Bulls manage to continue it. This team is still saying the right things, they're still playing hard, they haven't quit. Can they give Chicago one last good feeling before the season ends... Read more »
