Bulls continue to lose while cracks continue to widen

Bulls continue to lose while cracks continue to widen
Dan Bernstein made waves with his article lambasting Derrick Rose and "Team Rose" while the Bulls dropped another game in a season in which dropping games may not be so bad...

Derrick Rose's injury, recruitment, and the Bulls next shot at a dynasty

Derrick Rose, like the rest of the NBA, is in the midst of the fluff tour. Where NBA media around the country talk to players for all their feel good stories about how much their jumpers have improved, how much muscle they've gained, and how THIS year it will be better...

Miami Heat sign Michael Beasley to a camp contract

Contract extension talks with Deng stall, thank goodness... maybe

CSN Chicago reports that contract extensions between Deng and the Bulls have stalled. Deng was looking to get an extension done this summer...

The 2014 plan is no 2010 plan, not even close

And I don't mean that in a good way. The 2010 plan was well executed, the Bulls were in position to become a dynasty. It didn't work out, but the plan itself was well thought out and still allowed them to become an upper echelon team even if they didn't get the players they coveted. The 2014 plan? I'm not sure it exists...

Is the recently waived Michael Beasley worth a look?

17.1, 16.1, 15.5, 13.0, 10.8. Those are Michael Beasley's PERs from rookie season to last season. Yes. He has actually gotten worse every year in the league for five straight seasons and given his drug problems, attitude problems, and knucklehead problems, it wouldn't be shocking if that trend continued for a sixth and final season then that was it...

Why the Bulls can never win the off-season

Every year, Bulls fans look forward to the off-season, waiting for the big move to put them over the top. Waiting for management to do something, anything, to get better than the Miami Heat. After all, we'd better answer Reggie Rose's call and get some talent in here or perhaps Derrick Rose won't play again. Every year the Bulls make some minor moves on the bench and appear to come back worse...

More options for the Chicago Bulls final roster spot.

So if you weren't too thrilled with yesterday's knucklehead plan, and you aren't on board the Malcolm Thomas love train then what do you have left? Probably these guys...

Is it worth taking a chance on Tyrus Thomas or Michael Beasley?

The Chicago Bulls have missed out on many of the 'quality' big men left. Marcus Camby landed in Houston, Anthony Tolliver landed in Charlotte (have my doubts the Bulls were really interested in him despite reports), Al Harrington ended up in Washington (no reported Bulls interest, but would have been a nice scorer), and DeJuan Blair signed with the Mavericks. Sometimes to build a winner, it helps to sign a loser...
