Bulls win! Bulls win! Bulls win!

In a December matchup between Dwyane Wade and the Bulls and LeBron and the Cavs, the UC was electric from start to finish as the Bulls beat the Cavs 111-105. After a bad loss to the Lakers on Thursday night, it was quite a surprise to see Chicago an beat the premier team of the Eastern Conference on Saturday. However, before the contest Bulls fans had something to look forward to as King James anted up before the Bulls and Cavs squared off.

LeBron showed up at the United Center in a full Cubs uniform to honor his World Series bet with Dwyane Wade, and it was all Chicago after that. Rajon Rondo has his best game as bull as he filled the stat sheet with his first Triple Double of the season featuring 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists on 7-12 shooting including 1/1 from behind the arc.

Taj Gibson also had his best game of the season with 23 points and 11 rebounds on 10/13 shooting in 40 minutes. Dwyane Wade, 24, and LeBron, 27, traded buckets and smiles all night, however Wade got the last laugh, as the Bulls held LeBron James to zero Free Throws on the night.

Jimmy Butler, who apparently just has a ceiling that will never be reached, finished with 26, 8, and 6.

This Bulls team is hard to predict, but with Doug McDermott and Michael Carter-Williams hopefully returning soon. Fred Hoiberg should have more options to turn to on the bench as Mirotić continues to struggle early on, aside from a late game block on Kyrie Irving.

The Bulls are now 11-7 and sit in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference behind Cleveland and Toronto. The Bulls will travel to Dallas to take on the Mavericks without Dwyane Wade as the 34 year old will stay in Chicago to rest.

What an excellent game esp the 2nd H. Taj was unstoppable. Rondo actually led the team while he was on the floor instead of just filling up the stat sheet.

I just hope they can build off this win and take the Mavs out even w out Wade.

If the Bulls lose tonight, they end up 1-2 in this post circus trip. When going into this 3 game stretch, if you told me we would beat the Cavs, I would expect us to be 2-1 at worst, perhaps 3-0.

We sure could use MCW and Dougie back asap.
