  • 1) As it has been for the last 3 years, the biggest concern for the Bulls this year, and even more so in the playoffs, will be health. If they can manage that, then the following might well make them champs:
    2) Butler significantly improves again;
    3) Taj plays like he has in preseason;
    4) Dunleavy fulls the role for which he was signed, namely, shooting. passing, and a bit of D;
    5) and, of course, Rose, Noah, Deng, and Boozer all play pretty close to their potential.

    If all that happens, then if the FO figures they can trade Teague for a solid backup C, signing James may make sense. They may have to include a pick for the backup they want, but, hey, if it gives a real shot at a ring ...

    BTW, Doug, I was wondering the same thing as you about M Thomas. Seems like he could have brought a little value. Perhaps he is in the plans if no other big pans out.
