  • Always a great workout listen. Thanks Doug.

  • I'm predicting some hate incoming on saying you'd rather Deng than Gordon (although it's completely justified right now, Gordon's been even worse than last year in the pre-season).

Did you record this before the news that Miller was out for the Heat until at least January? Because I see no way in hell they can push for 72 wins without him for half the season, unless they want to play LeBron and Wade 48 minutes a night.

  • "Studidly Optimistic." Your words Doug, not mine. I'm not saying Luol Deng won't improve this year, but to even ponder whether or not you would trade him for Carmelo Anthony leaves me speechless. I know you ultimately said you'd do it, but it's not even a discussion.

Exactly what I have been saying RichG. Deng has a lot of Bulls fans fooled,I hope he does turn out to be an all star, but I won't be holding my breath on it. If Carmelo was in the Bulls he could do what Deng has done this preseason and a lot more. Carmelo has been a multiple time all star and a Olympic gold medalist. Who else in Chicago has done that, Jordan and Pippin comes to mind. And I'm not talking about the world championship ganesh cause I know Rose just won one this past summer. Some Bulls fans really need to understand that some of us want the Bulls to be in the company of the elite teams and not in the company of just good teams. If the Bulls can trade for Carmelo between now and the trading deadline without giving up Noah, they will definitely be in the company of the elite teams in the NBA.

  • IIt's good that you would take talent over chemistry Doug, cause as I have stated before... talented players know how to build chemistry.

  • Deng would never be a better fit than Melo. The disparity in talent is too great. No matter what depth the Bulls had to sacrifice in the deal, it would be worth it to significantly upgrade the core. You even said you were not impressed with the bench. Taj Gibson, Ronnie Brewer, and CJ Watson's of the world are much easier to replace than a player of Melo's stature is to acquire.
