Per all kinds of twitters or the Cleveland Plane's dealer here:
CHICAGO _ The Cavaliers announced that LeBron James would not play in
tonight's game against the Chicago Bulls. The Cavs are trying to rest
their star before the start of the playoffs. His status for Friday's
home game against Indiana is not immediately known.
Does this make you feel cheap? Dirty? This turns an almost certain loss into a game the Bulls should win. Let's not forget that the Bulls are plenty capable of losing games they should win though.
Still, 10 minutes before tip off, I feel pretty good about getting this one now. If they're successful, then they'll have largely made up for the Milwaukee a loss.
This now makes my likely scenario like this:
Bulls win tonight and tomorrow.
Raptors lose to Atlanta
Bulls enter that final matchup with a one game lead over Toronto. A win then gives the Bulls a magic number of 1 the rest of the way. Of course, let's not get ahead of ourselves. As noted above, the Bull losing tonight or in New Jersey wouldn't be particularly shocking. There's a reason they don't have a playoff spot locked up already.
