As a man who knows a thing or two about terrible website design, it heartens me greatly to bring you the following news.
At some point between today and yesterday, the Bulls updated their official website, from the dated look of yesteryear, to the new hotbed of sex that it is today. The sidebar of a few years ago had already been taken out, but the incumbent stylings of last week were somewhat bland, not especially useful, and a bit uninspiring. Now, they've been superceded by an entirely contemporary design that oozes style, class, charm, grace and penache, infinitely moreso than any of the late 90's designs that came before.
(Not that there's anything wrong with sidebars or anything.) The new look doesn't have the lived-in feel of the old one, but it's a worthy trade-off. Once the first cracks and scratches appear in the freshly painted walls, we'll be able to relax and drink in the new surroundings, and be able to truly call the new place our 'home.' It feels good to be in the 21st Century,
It was the Trail Blazers who pioneered the new style of navigation now used for official NBA team sites almost 18 months ago, and the Bulls are one of the last to make the jump. However, they've also made one of the best jobs of it, creating a site that destroys its predecessor in both functionality and looks.
Congratulations to everyone involved in the makeover. You've held it down.

Usually I am not a fan of change but this one I like.
