Donnie announced his decision today to decertify the Iran deal. Like the reality TV personality that he is, he led up to the announcement with coy teasers.
Trump caused laughter when he said that he has studied the deal "more than anybody," mostly because he doesn't read, much less study. Sadly, no one is laughing now.

All of Trump's statements leading up to his withdrawal from the Paris Agreement highlighted his complete ignorance of that deal.
He understood neither the goals nor the requirements of the Agreement. Trump only knows what he hears on FOX* and the timeline of his tweets prove that.
He has whined repeated that Iran is not living up to the deal.
FALSE. Iran is a bad actor on the world stage, but that was not a violation of the terms of the deal.
Iran has continually called for the demise of Israel, so you can be sure that this blogger would unhesitatingly press a button that would instantly eliminate the Supreme Leader of Iran and all of his followers.
Iran acknowledging Israel's right to exist however, was also not part of the deal.
According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran is in full compliance with the terms of the deal, the purpose of which was to curtail Iran's development of a nuclear arsenal. All of our intelligence agencies agree, as did Trump's then CIA chief, Mike Pompeo.
Iran has halted its uranium enrichment program and has allowed inspectors - including on site cameras - full access to its facilities and any suspected facilities.
All of that will now go away. That was one reason that France's Emmanuel Macron came to America, to try to convince Trump to recertify the deal.
Unfortunately for the world, Donald Trump can not overcome his childish, egomaniacal obsession to undue Barack Obama's legacy.
As promised in the title, here are seven reasons Donald Trump is a jackass (Editor's note: These 7 aren't even in the top 20):
ONE: The timing issue should be obvious to everyone.
Trump plans to sit down with North Korea's Kim Jong-un, possibly in a couple of weeks to demand NK gives up its nukes. Why would Kim consider any offer Trump makes in the wake of reneging on our last nuclear deal?
TWO: Donnie keeps crying that the deal allows Iran to restart its nuclear program in eight years. While that's not actually true, now they can restart their nuclear program tomorrow.
That's beside the point, though Trump is either lying or just plain uninformed. (Usually it's a combination of both)
The ten year window only applies to Iran's ability to develop nuclear ENERGY, NOT NUCLEAR WEAPONS.
In the very first paragraph of the agreement, Iran affirmed "that under no circumstances will Iran ever seek, develop or acquire any nuclear weapons."
THREE: Without the access that the Iran deal provided, we will have little or no idea what they're up to, anymore. Having access to their nuclear facilities also facilitated intelligence gathering inside Iran.
As a side benefit, it exposed Iranians to Western culture, something which could show up in future Iranian elections.
FOUR: The Iran deal was not just between the U.S. and Iran, it also included China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and Germany.
Pulling out of the deal is one more step toward isolating the United States, making us a less significant player on the world stage and opening the door further for Russia and China to step into the void.
FIVE: The President of the United States should not base decisions concerning the security of the United States and the world on a dog and pony show put on by a less than reliable Israeli source - Bibi Netanyahu.
Netanyahu displayed 100,000 files that supposedly proved that Iran lied, even though everyone knew that they had a robust nuclear program pre-2003.
Netanyahu's performance was reminiscent of Trump's, when Donnie laid out stacks of blank pages that were supposed to represent documents he signed relinquishing control of his businesses. That, too was a lie.
SIX: Not for nothing, gas will go up. Iran will certainly retaliate for any new sanctions, which might include them mining the Strait of Hormuz, a primary shipping lane for Middle East oil.
A single mother driving 30 miles each way to work is going to feel it and it's not going to make her America very great.
SEVEN: Trump's National Security Advisor, John Bolton has been calling for the bombing of Iran since at least 2007.
Bolton headed up an anti-Muslim think tank and generally favors war over all other options and in all situations and was against the Iran deal from its inception.
Besides all that, should anyone take advice from a man with this mustache (see below)?
