With New Indictments, It Looks Like Dishonest Don Sold Out His Country Long Before He Announced His Candidacy

Dishonest Don wants you to believe that the thirteen indictments announced by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Friday exonerate him.

The beauty of Twitter is that you can tweet out your delusions to your heart's content.

Trump-appointed National Security Chief H.R. McMaster had another take on the indictments. According to McMaster, the evidence that Russia meddled in the 2016 election is "incontrovertible."

That means that you can't argue about it and you can't call it a hoax. It's a fact, Jack.

It's also a fact that the Russians set up shop as early as 2014. Our Liar-in-Chief thinks that somehow precludes any charges of conspiracy with his campaign.  All that means is that the planning that went into getting Donald Trump elected started earlier than first thought.

The indictments offer insight into the extent of the planning, the breadth of the plot and the level of funding that was startling and previously unknown to the public.

Anyone who tells you that a massive, concentrated effort like the one described in the indictment had no effect on the outcome of our election is lying to you.

The "information war" waged by Russia - A FOREIGN, HOSTILE NATION - began during the primaries. The 37-page indictment describes the way the Russians worked to defeat both Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

It is clear that Russia and Vladimir Putin wanted Donald J. Trump in the White House.  Why?

After conclusive, undeniable and absolute proof that Putin and his oligarch buddies meddled in our elections, why has the President of the United States not condemned them?

It is not a hoax and it wasn't a 400-pound guy sitting on his bed in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Donnie accused the FBI of wasting time investigating Russian collusion and not doing enough to prevent mass shootings, like the one in Parkland Florida on Wednesday.

Maybe he didn't hear Mitch McConnell say that we shouldn't politicize this tragic event.

The FBI has 35,000 employees and hundreds, if not thousands of ongoing investigations.  Little Donnie Trump is not the center of their focus, although they did admit that they failed to investigate a tip about the Parkland shooter that came in just last month.

That shooting was a failure at every level, but it's also a distraction.

Why is the President of the United States failing to do ANYTHING to respond to an attack by a foreign, hostile nation and absolutely NOTHING to prevent their election meddling in the future?

We're used to seeing Trump take the accused's side in many situations.  Usually it has to do with a man accused of punching his wife or molesting a child.  His usual response is to say that the accused claims innocence and you have to listen to that.

No, you don't have to listen to it.  America has over two million residents in its prison system and, while some may have been unjustly convicted, almost all of them will try to convince you of their innocence.

When Donald Trump says that he believes Vladimir Putin's denial of election meddling, don't believe either of the them.  There is something fishy going on and the smell gets worse by the day.

Donald Trump has criticized leaders around the world and on both sides of the aisle here at home.  The only person he NEVER criticizes is Vladimir Putin.  About Putin he says, "He is a strong leader."

It's too bad we don't have one.  Thanks to Putin, we have no leader.
