FOX News has released a report this morning that the video of North Charleston (SC) Patrolman Michael Slager shooting Walter Scott in the back as Scott was running away from Slager had been altered.

According to analysts at FOX, Mr. Slager was running toward Patrolman Slager, causing the officer to draw his gun and fire.  No details were released as to why Mr. Scott was running backward.

A FOX spokesperson said, "It's the continued vigilance of our journalists and technicians that allows us to maintain a fair and balanced perspective of the world around us."

FOX, one time sponsor of George Zimmerman's "Shoot First" tour, brought their style of fair and balanced news to the government's report on the shooting of Michael Brown by Ferguson, MO police officer, Darren Wilson.

Instead of focusing on the lengthy and boring 100-page report released by the Department of Justice, anchors at FOX News cut quickly through the chaff, summing up the DOJ's findings that Officer Wilson would not be charged in the shooting.

News producers at FOX wisely chose to stay away from controversial and explosive findings that  in “nearly every aspect of Ferguson’s law enforcement system,” African Americans are impacted a severely disproportionate amount.

One marketing director at FOX commented, "Well, how many of those people watch FOX News, anyway?"
