Chicago Bears Huddle staff picks: Bears vs. Eagles

Below are the Chicago Bears Huddle staff picks for Bears vs. Eagles on Sunday Night Football. As always, we asked one fan on Twitter to join us. Here’s who we got:

Fan Prediction (9-5)

Darren Doxey (8-6*)

Bears 34, Eagles 27: The Bears will struggle to stop McCoy, but they will be able to win a shootout with Cutler back in the mix and playing well. They are 4-0 in prime time and get to 5-0, potentially clinching the division. Eagles have no answers for Jeffery and Marshall.

Blake Van Pouke (7-7*)

Bears 31, Eagles 27: I like the way the Bears’ offense has played, and they are going against a weak secondary in Philadelphia. I expect all of the big names on offense to be productive against the Eagles’ look.

The Bears’ defense has also been steadily improving from week to week, and they likely get back Lance Briggs this week, which should help out every part of the defense.

The Bears have been average on the road (4-3), but they are definitely hitting their stride offensively. I also think Chicago might enter this game with a chance to seal up the NFC North title, but that may be wishful thinking. If the Bears go up early, this game could be over by halftime.

Dominique Blanton (8-6)

Bears 34, Eagles 31: I have my concerns with this Bears’ defense facing a potent Eagles’ offense, but I have not yet seen a defense that could stop Marc Trestman's offense. I don't see that happening this Sunday against, statistically, a bad pass defense.

In order for the Bears to win this game, Jay Cutler (3/3) is going to need to out play Nick Foles. I think he gets the job done.

Matt Eurich (7-7)

Eagles 40, Bears 34: As much confidence I have in the Bears’ offense to score points, I have no confidence in the league’s worst run defense to slow down LeSean McCoy and his league-leading 1,343 rushing yards.

The Bears have been terrific in prime-time football this season, but I see that four-game winning streak ending in Philadelphia and in turn making next Sunday’s matchup with the Green Bay Packers for the NFC North crown.

Bob Warja (6-8*)

Bears 35, Eagles 31: The Bears travel to the city of brotherly love to take on an Eagles team reeling from a loss to the Vikings. Eagles’ pass defense stinks, so Marshall and Jeffery could have big days. Expect Philly to run the ball more than they did vs. Minny, but the possible return of Lance Briggs should help in that department.

Adam Oestmann (6-8)

Bears 34, Eagles 31: Destiny.

Matt plays the role of Debbie Downer this week. Thanks, Matt …
