The Chicago Bears Huddle staff picks Bears-Steelers, and as always we ask one fan on Twitter to join us for the week. Here's who we got:
Blake Van Pouke (2-0*)
Bears 23, Steelers 17: Chicago should be able to find its first win on the road Sunday night in Pittsburgh. The Steelers are struggling on offense and have a slew of injuries up front. Their defense should keep things close, but the Bears really ought to control this game from the onset and come out on top.
Bob Warja (2-0*)
Steelers 28, Bears 17: The Steelers have their back against the wall, and their defense will confuse a young Bears’ line and force Cutler to make mistakes. The resulting Bears turnovers will lead to scores from a Pittsburgh offense that has been awful thus far. I truly hope I'm wrong, but on the road for the first time this season, Chicago gets its first loss.
Darren Doxey (2-0*)
Bears 24, Steelers 13: The Steelers will hang around, I have no doubt, but ultimately their lack of talent and the Bears’ better second-half performance will put the game out of reach.
Adam Oestmann (2-0)
Bears 17, Steelers 13: Although Pittsburgh is a tough place to play, and while one would suspect the Bears are due for a loss at some point here, especially on the road and facing a desperate team, I think they manage this one on the short road trip.
Dominique Blanton (2-0)
Bears 21, Steelers 18: Dick LeBeau’s complicated blitz schemes will be a huge test for this new offensive line, but I think Trestman will be able to draw up a gameplan that helps them out. The Steelers’ offense is really struggling because their o-line is not run-blocking or protecting the QB, so the Bears’ defensive line should finally be able to get back on track this Sunday.
Matt Eurich (2-0)
Bears 27, Steelers 17: While going on the road is never an easy thing, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been, to put it nicely, awful. The Bears’ defense has struggled at times in the first two weeks, and the Steelers woeful offense may just be what they need to get themselves back on track. The Pittsburgh defense can still cause some problems, but I expect Matt Forte to have another solid outing on Sunday night and leave Pittsburgh with an 0-3 record.
Fan Prediction (2-0)
@adamspeaks Steelers might play hard and want this game more then the Bears, but in the end I see the Bears D getting after Ben. 24-17 Bears
