Alshon Jeffery to miss 2-3 weeks following arthroscopic knee surgery

After missing four games this season due to a fractured right hand, Alshon Jeffery managed to get in just one game against the 49ers last week and is now set to miss the next two to three weeks following arthroscopic knee surgery.

The Chicago Tribune first reported the news.

The Bears confirmed the news on Wednesday and have officially listed him as out against the Vikings this week.

Jeffery is among the Chicago Bears’ top four Draft picks from this season, all of whom have now missed time—some significant—due to injury.

Jay Cutler was asked about Jeffery on Wednesday and had this to say: I definitely wish I had him going forward. Hopefully it’s a fast recovery.”

Indeed.
