Bears agree to terms with KR/CB Greg McCoy

The Chicago Bears agreed to terms with seventh-round Draft selection KR/CB Greg McCoy on a four-year contract Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

McCoy started 39 of 52 games at cornerback for the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs from 2008-2011. He was the team’s kick return specialist his final three seasons, earning 1,505 return yards and three touchdowns on 52 kickoff returns (28.9 ypr).

At cornerback, he finished his collegiate career with 92 tackles (71 solo), seven interceptions and 17 pass break ups, with 30 tackles, two interceptions and seven pass break ups during his final season at TCU.

He was named the Poinsettia Bowl defensive MVP after returning an interception 24 yards to set up a tying touchdown in a 31-24 victory over Louisiana Tech.
