If there was any doubt that Bears' free agent DT Anthony Adams wanted to re-sign here in Chicago, he made short work of it on Tuesday.
"We were just one game away from the Super Bowl and I have a good rapport with all my teammates; there's no big egos here on this team. I love the coaching and training staff."
Adams was up at Halas Hall today with rookie OL J'Marcus Webb to receive the prestigious Brian Piccolo Award, handed out to one veteran and one rookie Chicago Bear each year.
The players vote amongst themselves whom best exemplifies the courage, loyalty, teamwork, dedication and sense of humor of the late Bears running back Brian Picollo.
With Adams set to hit the free agent market this year, there has been some concern among Bears fans that his performance during the 2010 season would certainly draw interest from teams around the league.
And while Adams is sure to keep his options open, it sounds like he undoubtedly would like to stay in Chicago if given the chance.
Adams told reporters at the event, that he cannot wait to play the Packers on Christmas day. "I'm doing everything in my power to beat them two times this year!"
