Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events wrapped up their free summer music concert series on Thursday August 16th with Moonrise Nation and The Sea And Cake.
Oak Park natives Moonrise Nation warmed up the crowd with a collection of sultry, original arrangements from their July debut Glamour Child.
Well into their second decade, hometown veteran indie rockers, and Thrill Jockey recording artists, The Sea and Cake served up a set of guitar-oriented, atmospheric, shoegaze rock.
