This is your guide to catching the best live music in Chicago both in the city and throughout the suburbs.  This weekend, Erykah Badu hits House of Blues for two shows, each featuring a different full album performance.  Plus area appearances by Local H, Glen Phillips, Ronnie Baker Brooks and Big Head Todd, Maxi Priest and Michael McDermott.  All of this plus much more...

In The City...

Erykah Badu (Two shows at 9PM Thursday and Friday at House of Blues. Each show is $99, 17+) -  *** Thursday's show features a performance of the Baduizm album.  Friday's show features a performance of the Mama's Gun album *** 

Flux Pavilion (Doors open at 7PM Friday at Congress Theater. 18+, SOLD OUT) - Carnage and Torro Torro open.

Jackpot Donnie (8:30PM Friday at Metro. $14,18+) - The Future Laureates, Molehill and The Scissors open.

Maxi Priest (9PM Friday at The Shrine. $29-425, 21+) - DJ Papa G opens.

Making Movies (8PM Saturday at Township. $10, 18+) - The Noise FM and Jugo de Mango open.

Michael McDermott (8PM Saturday at Red Line Tap. $17, 21+) - Kevin Mileski opens.

The Outfit (9PM Saturday at Hard Rock Cafe. $10, 18+) - Curbside, Our Name is Jonas and The Sharrows open.

 

In The Suburbs...

Matthew Santos (Two shows at 7PM and 9:30PM Friday at SPACE in Evanston.  7PM show is SOLD OUT.  9:30PM show is $20.  Both shows all ages)

Glen Phillips (8PM Saturday at SPACE in Evanston. $20-40, All Ages) - Dave Sills opens.
