Do-Division... Always one of the highlights of the Chicago, summer festival season, once again, the Do-Division lineup doesn't disappoint.  Taking place Friday, June 1st through Sunday, June 3rd on Division between Ashland and Leavitt, music highlights are many and include performances by JC Brooks & The Uptown Sound on Friday, Le Butcherettes, White Mystery, Besnard Lakes, Craig Finn and In Tall Buildings on Saturday and Murder By Death, The Antlers and Cory Chisel on Sunday.  Get all of the details HERE...

Manifest Urban Arts Fest 2012... Columbia College celebrates its grads at this annual South Loop festival.  It's free and open to the public and kicks off the outdoor festival season nicely with some solid music performances throughout the day on Friday, May 4th.  Catch artists like Katz Company, Kids These Days and a 7PM headlining set by Allen Stone.  Get the full list of Friday's events HERE...

Third Annual Dempster Family Foundation Casino Night... Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster and wife Jenny gear up for their third annual casino night this Wednesday, May 9th at the Palmer House Hilton.  Featuring music performances by American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox and the Sinatraesque sounds of John Vincent, the event aims to raise awareness of 22q11.2 deletion (DiGeorge Syndrome/VCFS).  A live auction featuring items from stars like Garth Brooks, Bruce Springsteen the Doobie Brothers and more will also take place so make yourself available to support a great cause this Wednesday night.  I'll have a full preview for Wednesday's event on Monday but in the meantime, learn more about the event and pick up tickets to attend HERE...
