This is your guide to catching the best live music in Chicago this weekend both in the city and throughout the suburbs.  This weekend, M83 arrives in Uptown, the Old 97's celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Cubby Bear, Allen Stone and Kids These Days get the Chicago festival season started in the South Loop, Rammstein torches Rosemont and "Weird" Al returns to Merrillville.  All of this plus much more...

In The City...

Bob Schneider (9PM Friday at Double Door. $20-25, 21+) - Laura Warshauer opens.

The Boxer Rebellion (10PM Friday at Lincoln Hall. $16, 21+) - Canon Blue opens.

The Damn Choir (9:30PM Friday at The Hideout. $10, 21+) - Paper Thick Walls and Kingsley Flood open.

M83 (7:30PM Friday at the Riviera Theatre.  SOLD OUT) - I Break Horses opens.  ***  Due to overwhelming demand, this show was moved from the Vic Theatre to the Riviera Theatre.  All tickets purchased for the Vic will be honored.  ***

Allen Stone and Kids These Days (Friday at Columbia College - 1001 S. Wabash.  Part of the 2012 Manifest Urban Arts Festival. Free, All Ages) - Music gets underway at 1PM with Fox the Cat and performances by artists like American Wolf, Katz Company and more continue throughout the day.  Kids These Days perform at 5:45PM and Allen Stone headlines at 7PM.

Rusko (8PM Friday and Saturday at the Congress Theater. Each show is $29-75, 17+) - Sigma and Zebo also perform.
