In The City...

Graham Parker (Two shows on Friday at 7 and 10PM at the Old Town School of Folk Music.  Each show is $18-22, All Ages) - Gretchen Peters opens.

Mastodon (7PM Friday at the Riviera Theatre. $43, All Ages) - Opeth and Ghost open.

Creed (8PM Friday and Saturday at Chicago Theatre. Each show is $46-90, All Ages) - Eve to Adam opens.  *** Creed is performing the My Own Prison album on Friday and the Human Clay album on Saturday. ***

Jim has also worked locally for WXRT-FM, lives within walking distance of the Metro and is an avid White Sox and Blackhawks fan whose first live concert experience came at Comiskey Park in 1984 during the Jacksons' "Victory" tour.
